At the age of 20 she was the founder of Miss All City Black High School Pageant which provided scholarships for young ladies throughout the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex. She worked a variety of corporate America jobs before accepting her calling in 1997 into the ministry.
In 1999, she was licensed at Friendship West Baptist Church, by Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III, where she was active in Singles Ministry. At the age of 27, God directed her path to leave Texas an attend Clark Atlanta University, in Atlanta, Georgia where she received a Bachelors of Arts in Religion/Mass Media. She is currently enrolled in Prairie View A & M University graduate program pursuing a Masters Degree in Education Administration.
In 2004 she accepted a position as a first grade teacher that led her on a career path of teaching youth. In 2007, God redirected her path and gave her the vision to become an author. In July of 2009, she released her first project as a publish author entitled: Driven, Which Way Would You Go? As an author she is continuing her journey to become a world-wide well known inspirational writer. She is the founder of Encouraging Words Ministries which guides and leads individuals to use Gods word through daily applications. As she continues on her journey in another direction with God to pursue her goals in ministry, God has granted her many gifts to travel many paths for ministry.
As an evangelist one of her favorite scriptures of belief is “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).” She also knows that in time God will always guide you to and through your season, because God does not guide, where he will not provide!
